With the rise of Tumblr in my formative high school years, having a blog was an extension of your Myspace where you posted artsy pictures and poetic quotes – it was the coolest thing and everyone had one. In the past 10 years, I have jumped into many blog ventures, from documenting my poetry to life moments, you named it, and I had a blog for it. There have been days when I visit those old blogs and tell myself that if I ever run for public office, these posts will resurface and haunt me – I can already picture the headline already – “Politician’s Rebellious Childhood through Embarrassing Poetry”. Similar to many of my high school friendships, these blogs were slowly abandoned as other priorities came forward.
Now as a working professional, I continuously have this creative desire to find a medium to express myself. As a liberal arts major, I spent many nights cranking out pages and pages burning the midnight oil. Currently as a branch manager, I rarely pick up a pen, let alone write. After 4 years, I had a craving to express myself through words again. I knew I wanted to write, I want to create a blog again but what?

In the past year, I find myself time and time again giving my friends recommendations on what to do in a city or what skincare product to try out. In short, I created this platform to share with others my own experiences with beauty and the world. There will be sprinkles of fashion and recipes. Essentially I wanted to create a space for me to share my tips, tricks and recommendations with others.
This blog is my creative passion project that I hope all that stumble upon this will enjoy.
